Responsibilities
- Write and execute test cases (manual and automated) and analyzes results
- Document failed issues, Report bugs and errors to development teams.
- Testing new model data in multiple QA and live environments by comparing output in client products against the user story.
- Examine new or modified applications to evaluate whether they perform as intended
- Identify test requirements from specifications, documents detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases, scenarios, test plans, and scripts for functional and regression testing
- Plan, test, and coordinate release activities; Ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Find and track software defects/bugs and inconsistencies. Isolate, replicate and report defects and verify defect fixes. Perform analysis of impact of found bugs and assign priority ratings for resolutions
- Help troubleshoot issues with engineering team, product team and other stakeholders
- Develop effective automated testing strategies and test plans for all levels of testing (system, integration, and regression). Write automated tests of low to moderate complexity
- Review system specifications, product domain specifications and acceptance criteria for user stories
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- A good working knowledge of test management software, programming languages, and QA methodologies.
- 2 years’ experience in QA testing.
- Good team working and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of various QA / Testing tools
- Hands-on experience with Test Automation tool(s) like Selenium, TestProject, etc.
